The Road Safety Authority (RSA) in association with SIMI, will run a campaign on second-hand tyres commencing Monday 25th of April. Second-hand or part-worn tyres are tyres which have been used on another vehicle. If buying a part worn tyre, consumers must ensure the tyre is safe and meets the minimum legal requirements.
Consumers should also think about whether or not you’re getting real value for money. The campaign will commence with a radio advertising followed by an online marketing over a 6 week period.
Further details are available on the RSA’s website.
